National University of Singapore, Sunday, July 11, 2010 — The National University of Singapore (NUS) fell to Korea National Sport University (KNSU) 4-7 in the 1st Asian Universities Water Polo Championships.
With this loss, NUS are now second in group A behind KNSU and will play against Group B winners Waseda University in the semi-finals. Waseda won all of their three group games.
In other games involving the Singapore varsities, the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) lost to Peking University Founder Technology College (PUFTC) 6-12 and the NUS women’s team lost 2-26 to Namangan National University.
The Singapore Management University men’s team conceded their match against Waseda University in a walkover.
