In the 58th minute, SP’s Muhammad Alif Bin Mohammad Nor (#90), broke through Ngee Ann’s defense and gave SP an equalizing goal to tie it up 5-5 with less that two minutes left.
With the hordes of SP supporters chanting “Go SP!”, Suria of SP scored a decisive goal with 16 seconds left to make it 6-5 to secure victory. There was now no way back for NP as the SP supporters loudly counted down every remaining second.
With a win under their belt, SP team captain Muhammad Ammar Bin Zaini said, referring to their next match against Temasek Polytechnic (TP): “We will try to win, of course. We will put our heads out and try our best. This victory is just a stepping stone.”
SP play TP on July 28th at 6.15pm at the Republic Polytechnic Multi-Purpose Hall.

Ed’s note: If you recognise the players, please let us know their names and we’ll update the captions.
Maybe it’ll be better if you put the ‘storyline’ of the match between NP and SP girls rather than just posting pictures? The public wants to know how the match went anyway.
The volunteer only had time to write for one game.
If anyone has a story to tell regarding the game between NP and SP girls, feel free to share at http://redsports.sg/tell-your-story/
We don’t have enough volunteers to tell every story out there.
You send it, we post it. : )
sp player no. 99 is Puvin…he’s the one in the first pic…he came in the subsequent pics too…
i think u make a mistake.sp 5th goal is an np player who assisted! they did not break through the defence
thanks M.lee for catching the mistake 🙂
I think you make a mistake, maybe you can correct it. An NP player (white) can only look on in vain as SP* score to equalize at 4-4. Photo 1 © Vanessa Lim/Red Sports)
