Saint Andrew Secondary School

Age: 13-14 years
Reasons:
This team possesses both on pitch and off pitch cohesion.
Let me start with on pitch:
1) This team consists of players with different brilliant individual skill
2) Besides displaying their wide range of skills, most importantly they play as a team. Combining their skills with great teamwork and understanding.
3) Very discipline, follow game plan accordingly.
4) Play hard, play for each other, “Never-say-die” attitude.
5) Scored 45 goals in 8 games. Knocked out defending champions Victoria School with an astonishing score of 7-2
6) It is simply a joy to see them play. Poetry in motion
Off pitch:
1) These guys set their goal of winning the tittle, way back to the start of their first training. Very goal orientated.
2) Team possesses winning mentality. They made their “Champions shirt” even before reaching to the finals.
3) They are not teammates, but they are brothers.
4) Everyone gives 200% in training, and they have the hunger to improve in every training.
Note: Some members of the C Division team took part in the SCC 6-a-side tournament early this year. They beat JWSS B Division team in the finals, against all odds.
All in all, well done SASS C Division hockey team. Congrats on winning the title.

Hwa Chong Institution Volleyball Team
The team has won double champions this year for both girls and boys. The boys retained their title from last year’s win over NYJC, the traditional vball powerhouse in A div, while the girl’s team won the title back, which also means that the girl’s team has won 4 championship teams in the past 5 years. The team makes up for the bulk of combined school. Last but more importantly, the team is highly bonded with excellent team chemistry despite coming from different background (ie sec schs).
