Kallang Field, Saturday, August 21, 2010 — Abdud Dayyan Bin Mohd Jaffar bowed out in the quarter-finals of the men’s individual recurve when he lost 6-0 to Slovenian Gregor Rajh.
The sixth-ranked Rajh won three straight frames 28-26, 26-20 and 27-23 to claim the tie as Abdud Dayyan could not match his opponent for consistency.
Abdud Dayyan had qualified for the quarter-finals when he beat third-seeded Briton Mark Nesbitt in the Round of 16 eliminations.
The Singaporean, who is ranked 14th, trailed 2-4 after three sets but won the final two frames 25-22 and 27-25 to claim the tie 6-4.
