Catholic High School, Saturday, March 5, 2011 — The South Zone all-star basketball team signaled their intent for a good showing in the upcoming all-star competition with an intensive training for some of the more outstanding performers in the South Zone Basketball Championship.

A total of 30 players representing seven teams in the South Zone turned up and competed for places on the South Zone all-star team.

The inter zonal all-star competition will take place on Friday, March 18, at the Co-Curricular Activities Branch. Any player in the competition with an outstanding performance stands a chance to be selected for the Asean School Games squad or the Singapore Schools squad. Both squads will then compete in regional and local competitions after the inter-school season.
