[…] Matchday 1: Victoria JC 4-0 NUS High (Goals by Khairul, Anu, Santosh & Shijudeen) http://redsports.sg/2011/03/29/vjc-nus-high-a-division-football/ […]
ive watched vjc against hci yesterday and tbh vj doesnt look good. they were far from last year’s standard and must really do well to capture the championship title although hci played 5 defenders at the back
the team only revolves around dilip? wow thats some good team vjc have got there.
The coach is just playing down the team to avoid the media pressure! Last year they were hyped by everyone! He, and we, know that VJC ARE THE CHAMPIONS THIS YEAR. Yes I’m making a bold statement. Of truth. Mark my words. Looking at and hearing about mjc and sajc, they can’t hold a candle. Maybe good fight in semi, and only that.
I’m looking for the full lineup of both teams.
If you could list the full name and jersey number of the player in name (jersey number) format, I would appreciate it.
More photos of this game have been added to the gallery.
no 12 for nus high is vijay ramadoss and no 5 is kausik venkat
what about line-ups of the 2 teams?
I think NUS High, River Valley and Dunman High have done well.
Tan Yen Hwee, the Head of PE Dept at VJC, no longer coaching the VJC team?
Alfred Ali, last season A Div top-scorer, no longer playing for VJC?
hi,
in photo5, the NUS High player sliding in is Ong Siong Gim.
in photo7, the NUS high player is Joel Ng.
Thanks for the NUS High names, Robert.
Robert, do you have the full lineup of the team? Names and jersey numbers? We would like to add the lineup into the story.
I think this article sugar coated VJ’s performance. Sitting there in the stands watching, they were rubbish. They are capable of so much more. There were instances in the game when they built it up so nicely. They just have to make sure these instances become a habit. As the coach said, they still have a long way to go before they’re championship material.
And the first goal scored by Khairul Anwar, he slid it in. It wasn’t a header.
true that. NUS High should have come away with a draw.
no doubt u are someone from the NUS High Soccer team. Respect.
