CCAB, Thursday, April 14, 2011 — Hwa Chong Institution beat defending champions Raffles Institution 6-5 in a rain-delayed final to capture the National A Division Water Polo Championship.
Lightning had forced the game to be postponed from the day before.
The HCI victory stopped a four-year RI winning streak and gave HCI their first A Division title since 2006, and their fifth A Division title since 1994.

correction. he didn’t lead his team to a winning streak in cdiv, as far as i rmb hci won both years in 2006 and 2007.
Raffles deserved to win the game. Their captain Rishi Shankar Pandey was the best captain ever. He led ACS(barker) to a winning streak for his C and B Div years and the first part of his A Div years. What an outstanding leader and player!
its true that he’s a good leader, but definitely not the best, not even close to great. RI failed to even dominate the game, though they capitalised on almost all opportunities that was given to them, thus judging on the finals they didnt deserved to emerge victories
never see much in someone who jump ship to a rival school… says much about his lack of integrity. if he is truly such an outstanding leader/player, he shd have went to acjc and win it with them.

HCI #11 – Ang An Jun
the ‘HCI opponent’ in photo 5 looks like #3, Ernest Aw, and the goalkeeper in photo 6 is #1, Xiong Xing Yu from HCI?
