National B Div Vball: Tight matches loom in second round

The release of the second round groupings for the National B Division Girls’ Volleyball Championship saw a tough draw for the schools in Group Y. East Zone Champions Dunman Secondary are drawn together with Presbyterian High and West Zone Champions Nanyang Girls’ High. Joining them in the group are zone rivals Ngee Ann Secondary.

Presbyterian High had topped Group C while Nanyang Girls’ finished top of Group D. Dunman were second in Group A while Ngee Ann were second in Group B.

Defending champions Jurong Secondary are drawn in Group X together with North Zone Champions Xinmin Secondary, South Zone Champions Cedar Girls’ Secondary and Anderson Secondary.

Jurong and Xinmin finished top of Group A and B respectively with three wins out of three matches played. Cedar finished second in Group C after a loss to Presbyterian High while Anderson Secondary finished in second place in Group D.

The second round will commence on Tuesday, March 20th.
