Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Tuesday, April 10, 2012 — Eugenia Tan of Singapore Sports School won the gold in the B Division 100m final with a time of 12.67 seconds at the 53rd National Schools Track and Field Championships.
Eugenia was the only athlete to go under 13 seconds in the final.
Eugenia had also set the new championship record of 12.39 in the semi-finals, breaking the old record of 12.43 set by Shanti Veronica Pereira just last year in 2011.
Shanti, who qualified for this as well as the 200m final, withdrew from both races.
Jannah Wong of CHIJ Katong Convent finished second in 13.10 while Sheryl Teh of Nanyang Girls’ High was third in 13.16.
