Best memory swimming for school: Swim trainings under Mr Kee starting at 5.30am, ACJS-ACPS rivalry at primary school swimming nationals and being titans of the pool with ACSS where we ruled the pools. 1984 inter-house medley relay, we were Oldham house with Amos Mok on backstroke, Patrick Tan on breaststroke, Wong Soon Tong on butterfly and I was on the freestyle leg.

Best memory swimming for school: PAYSC (1976-1981). Yes, swimming under Mr Kee when the whole world is sleeping. Best memory is the SP team winning the IVP (Institute-Varsity-Polytechnic) Championships in 1987 and beating the NUS team in the freestyle relay. Also nice memories of participating in the Sanya Samaki Cups in the late 70s

Best memory swimming for school: Beating the St Andrew’s Secondary team in the 1990 National Schools’ B Division 4x50m freestyle relay, and winning the gold in one of my pet events, the 1500m freestyle in 1991.
Pet events: 50m Butterfly — 27s (PB, 1990), 33s (current best). 1500m Freestyle — Sub 17mins. Now, hard to say.
