Clementi Sports Hall, Monday, July 22, 2013 — Boon Lay Secondary beat Tanglin Secondary 37–21 in Round 1 of the West Zone C Division Basketball Championship.
Tan Cheng Shan (#14) of Boon Lay scored a game-high of 15 points while the Tanglin #9 scored a team-high 10 points.
This victory gave Boon Lay a 2–3 win-loss record but it did not help them to proceed to the next round as they finished in fourth place in the group.
For Tanglin, the loss dropped them to 1–4 and they finished fifth in Group F.
Kranji Secondary and Westwood Secondary made it out of the group into the next round.
