Clementi Sports Hall, Monday, August 19, 2013 – River Valley High beat Raffles Institution 28–16 in the 2013 National C Division Basketball Championship.
The win lifted River Valley to a 1–2 win-loss record and third place in their group but it was not enough for them to qualify for Round 2.
River Valley, who finished fourth in the West Zone, went down 24–64 to East Zone champions, Dunman Secondary, in their opening game. In their next game, they lost 13–34 to North Zone runners-up, Presbyterian High.
With this loss, Raffles finished bottom of their group with a 0–3 record. Raffles, who finished third in the South Zone, lost their opening game 55–66 to Presbyterian High. They then went down 16–67 to Dunman.
