Seven years ago, Red Sports posted its first article on January 31, 2007.
Our mission? To bring to light the vibrant world of Singapore sports, especially school sports. We hope that the work we’ve done so far here on Red Sports has achieved that goal.
I’ve also been able to keep Red Sports going all these years because a lot of talented people have stepped up to volunteer their time to help me write, photograph and sub-edit. Without them, Red Sports would be a way smaller site.
Red Sports was set up as an independent entity, and is not part of any government agency, but we have managed to help pay for our costs through advertising and sponsorship.
To ensure as many people read about the exploits of our school-athletes, we’ve kept the site free. Would you consider taking up a subscription of $5 a month to help us with our mission? This in turn will help us keep the site free for school-athletes.
Thank you for your support all these years and for keeping us company. I really appreciate it very much.
