Singapore Indoor Stadium, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 — Singapore’s pair of Vanessa Neo and Fu Mingtian went down 0–2 against Indonesia’s Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah and Suci Rizky Andini at the 2014 OUE Singapore Open.
The Indonesian pair put up a strong offensive display to take the first set 21–17. Singapore’s duo of Vanessa and Mingtian regrouped to a strong start in the second set, but Indonesia’s Tiara and Suci were quick to adapt to Singapore’s strategy change and eventually closed out the set with a 21–16 victory.
With the loss, Vanessa and Mingtian did not qualify for round two of the 2014 OUE Singapore Open.
