Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Wednesday, April 16, 2014 — Suhairi of the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN) Delta Senior School clinched his first ever gold medal in the 100m race at the 55th National Inter-School Track & Field Championships. He stopped the clock at 12.76 seconds.
His teammates Azmi and Tumijan clocked 13.68s and 13.80s respectively.
This was the first time Suhairi had come in first in the 100m.
Suhairi said, “It feels great to win, and I’m thankful for coach Hosni.”
