About your comment, “She threatened VJC’s defence with several good runs but nothing came out of it.” I would beg to differ. Elizabeth Jane Ong went on one counter attack after VJC struck the crossbar and dribbled all the way to the opposing penalty box only to see her shot beat the keeper but strike the crossbar as well.
And the second comment, “RI’s goalkeeper Pei Ling (RI #1) fumbled the ball.” The keeper did not fumble the ball. She parried the ball away and it fell to a VJC player who reacted first to score.
Thanks for your comments.
With regard to your comments about Elizabeth, we prefer that she had SEVERAL GOOD RUNS to just ONE counter attack, given her performance in the game. 🙂
With regard to the fumbling of the ball, Jiexin and I were near the goal post watching the whole sequence, and it clearly looked like a fumble. Hope this helps as well. 🙂
