Clementi Sports Hall, Monday, July 14, 2014 — Westwood Secondary (WSS) beat NUS High 55–14 in the first round of the West Zone C Division Basketball Championship.

Pyae Phyo Kyaw (WSS #10) led all scorers with 16 points.

Westwood dominated in the first period, allowing only two points by NUS High.

Westwood continued their dominance in the second period, scoring sixteen points while limiting NUS High to just a three-pointer by (NUS #8) to take a 30–5 lead.

Westwood led throughout the game and scored 25 points in the second half to take the game 55–14.

Westwood captain, Teo Wei Long (#7) said, “It was a fun and exciting game.”

Top scorer, Pyae Phyo Kyaw (WSS #10) added, “I think my performance was not bad, but it wasn’t the best.”

This is the last game of the season for both teams as they fail to advance to the second round.
