Bukit Gombak Stadium, Thursday, April 9, 2015 — Hwa Chong Institution’s (HCI) Yeo Teng Wei (#238) clinched the B Division boys’ pole vault gold with a 3.65 metre leap at the 56th National Inter-School Track and Field Championships.
Despite registering a 3.65 metre leap alongside Yeo (#238), Raffles Institution’s (RI) Josh Lee (#292) had to settle for second place due to a count back.
Ethan Cheong (#469) of Victoria School completed the podium, clinching the bronze medal with a 3.55m effort.
The B Division boys’ pole vault record stands at 4.64m, and it was set by HCI alumnus Chan Sheng Yao in 2012.
