Singapore, Wednesday, February 23, 2011 — Mark Chay, 29, is set to become the chief executive officer of the Singapore Hockey Federation (SHF) from March 1st, 2011.

SHF President, Ms Annabel Pennefather said: “SHF is delighted to welcome Mark as our CEO. We interviewed a number of quality applicants but we believe Mark’s sporting experience, academic achievements, business background and know-how of the sports industry gives him the edge and will hold him in good stead in his role at the SHF. Mark knows what it takes to be an Olympian and he will certainly be a role model for our young players to emulate having successfully combined both sports and studies.”
