Jalan Besar Stadium, Tuesday, May 24, 2011 — Defending champions Victoria Junior College (VJC) won the National A Division Girls’ Football Championship after a 3-1 victory over St Andrew’s Junior College (SAJC).
VJC now hold the crown for the fourth year running.
Two goals in the first-half from Sarah Long (VJC #8) and Chris Yip-Au (#10) saw VJC head into the second half with a comfortable lead. Chris Yip-Au then doubled her goal tally with another goal in the second quarter before Joey Cheng (SAJC #9) scored a consolation goal via a free kick in the final few minutes of the match.

btw the captions for 42 and 44 are wrong. Karen Sng the vjc goalkeeper was crying in photo 42 not because of joy but because she really wanted to get a clean sheet for the entire season but was denied right at the end while in photo 44 they were consoling her
Photo 4 : Beatrice saved this shot, this was not the third goal
Photo 27 : SAJC player on the ball is Jean Loh
Photo 31 : SAJC player is Tressa Fernandez, who also received the ‘Most Promising Player Award’ for the tournament
