A more balanced team scoring helped Woodlands Ring Secondary beat Kranji Secondary 47-31 in a Group A match played at Singapore Basketball Centre yesterday.

Yet the Kranji team were not without talent, with left-handed Shane Neo (#7) scoring with some nice lay-ups.

His 12-point contribution was not enough however. Woodlands Ring outscored Kranji in the first three quarters to build a big 37-20 lead.

The Woodlands Ring bench then followed up to mop up the win.

Wei Yao (#12, WRS) led his team with 9 points.
