North Zone B Division Volleyball: Big wins on first day of competition

Presbyterian High, Thursday, January 12, 2012 — The first day of competition of the 2012 North Zone B Division Volleyball Championship saw the traditional powerhouses post big wins in their Round 1 group matches.

Defending champions Presbyterian High overcame a slow start to beat Evergreen Secondary 2-0 (25-10, 25-12). 2011 Runner-up Anderson Secondary also fared equally well. Fielding their reserves in the second set, they saw off Woodlands Secondary 2-0 (25-2, 25-13).
