Kranji Secondary, Wednesday, February 15, 2012 — Kranji Secondary were beaten 4-1 by Nan Hua High in the West Zone B Division Boys’ Badminton Championship. The loss meant Kranji failed to make it to the semi-finals of the West Zone zonal championship for the first time in its history.

Only Kranji’s second doubles pairing of Ming Shien and Shande of Kranji beat their Nan Hua High opponents to secure their solitary point in the 4-1 loss.

Also, on the same day, the Kranji C Division boys’ team also lost to Nan Hua, a loss that also cost them a place in the semi-finals.

All hopes of a top four finish for Kranji are now on their B Division girls’ team who will meet Fuhua Secondary this coming Monday, February 20th.
