Shah Alam, Saturday, February 18, 2012 — The Singapore LionsXII beat Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) FC 3-0 to advance to the next round of the Malaysian FA Cup.

The UiTM team are made up of undergraduates and play in the FAM League, the third-tier of Malaysian football.

Shaiful Esah opened the scoring with a brilliant volley in the 10th minute and Madhu Mohana added a headed second in the 15th.

The UiTM captain Ahmad Shahir scored an own goal in the 84th minute after he got his head to a Shahdan Sulaiman cross.
