Clementi Sports Hall, Thursday, April 5, 2012 — Unity Secondary saw off Raffles Institution 60-26 to cruise into Round 2 of the National B Division Boys’ Basketball Championship.
The win means the West Zone champions have amassed a 15-0 win-loss record since the start of their zonal championship.
Unity started their national campaign with a 62-35 victory over Seng Kang Secondary and followed that up with a 67-40 win over Dunman High.
Over the three games in the nationals, Unity have outscored their opponents 189-101.
Unity will face off against North Zone runners-up Presbyterian High (12-2) in their opening Round 2 game. Their group also includes East Zone runners-up Anglican High (12-2) and North Vista Secondary (13-1), the North Zone champions.
