Yio Chu Kang Sports Hall, Friday, May 25, 2012 — Victoria Junior College (VJC) won the National A Division Girls’ Floorball Championship when they beat Temasek Junior College (TJC) 6-4 in the final.
VJC had beaten Yishun Junior College (YJC) 3-1 on penalties in their semi-final after the game was tied 4-4 after regulation time. In the other semi-final, TJC edged out River Valley High 2-1.
VJC last won the championship title in 2010 when they beat Raffles Institution 5-3 in the final.
VJC were unbeaten over seven games throughout the season. VJC were held to a 0-0 by River Valley High in a Round 1 game and racked up double-digit wins over Millennia Institute (11-1) and Innova Junior College (10-0).
River Valley High finished third in the A Division with a 4-0 win over YJC.
