Clementi Sports Hall, Thursday, February 14, 2013 — Nan Hua High qualified for Round 2 when they beat Assumption English School 59-16 in the West Zone B Division Boys’ Basketball Championship.
It was a game where the winner would go through to Round 2 but Assumption English could not provide much of a challenge to Nan Hua High.
The win gave Nan Hua High a 4-1 win-loss record and second place in their group behind Dunearn Secondary who were a perfect 5-0 after they thrashed NUS High in their final Round 1 game.
Assumption English finished third in the group win a 2-2 record.
Nan Hua High will now face Unity Secondary (4-0), River Valley High (2-2), Kranji Secondary (4-1), New Town Secondary (5-0) and Jurong West Secondary (4-1) in their Round 2 group.
