Toa Payoh Hub, Saturday, February 23, 2013 — St. Joseph’s Institution Junior charmed the audience with an entertaining good-versus-evil dance performance, to win the annual Danceworks! competition.
Anglo-Chinese School (Primary) and Eunos Primary School placed second and third respectively.
Held annually since 1999, DanceWorks! is one of Singapore’s biggest dance competitions and enjoys a loyal following among youth in Singapore. The competition is organised by the National Council Against Drug Abuse and the Central Narcotics Bureau, and aims to promote an active drug-free lifestyle.
A total of 26 teams took part in Category 1 of the competition, for youth aged under 13 years.
