Clementi Sports Hall, Monday, August 19, 2013 – East Zone champions Dunman Secondary beat Presbyterian High 64–37 in Round 1 of the 2013 National C Division Boys’ Basketball Championship.
It was Dunman’s third straight win and they qualified for Round 2 as group winners with a perfect 3–0 win-loss record.
Dunman’s first win came in a 64–24 win over River Valley High. They followed that up with a 67–16 victory over Raffles Institution.
Presbyterian High dropped to 1–2 and they finished second in the group. Presbyterian High beat Raffles Institution 66–55 in their opening game of the Nationals and followed that up with a 34–13 win over River Valley High.
Both teams qualified for Round 2. Dunman’s Round 2 group includes West Zone champions Unity Secondary, South Zone champions Fairfield Methodist School, and Bukit Panjang Government High.
Presbyterian High find themselves in a group with Jurong Secondary, Chung Cheng High (Main) and North Vista Secondary, the North Zone champions.
