Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Tuesday, April 8, 2014 — Raffles Institution’s Ang Ding Hui clocked a timing of 14.52 seconds to bag the boys’ A Division 110m hurdles gold medal at the 55th National Inter-School Track & Field Championships.
Ding Hui has now won three sprint hurdles titles in the last four years at the national schools championships.
Jonathan Goh of Hwa Chong Institution was second with a timing of 15.39s. RI’s Tan Kuan Hian finished in 15.54s to take home the bronze medal.
The A Division 110m hurdles record is 14.23s and was set in 2005 by RI alumnus and national record holder Abdul Hakeem Bin Abdul Halim.
Ding Hui’s elder brother, Chen Xiang, was a two-time winner of this race in 2011 and 2012.
