CHIJ overcame the stuffiness of the post-shower heat last Wednesday to take down TKGS 23-7 at the Kallang Netball Centre.

Putting in much diligence and teamwork on court, the CHIJ girls displayed more confidence in their passing and shooting, showing they had trained hard to get to the National games.  They ran and stretched harder for the ball, despite the tiring heat.  Particularly impressive was CHIJ’s Goal-shooter, who made good most of her shooting chances and pumped in the most points for the team.

TKGS was unfortunately plagued by a poor shooting form that saw them missing plenty of shots and trailing 2-11 by the end of Quarter 2.  Perhaps bothered by the heat, or a lack in team morale, the girls started looking tired and clueless by the second half.

We didn’t manage to catch hold of any of the girls for a chat after the game, but still, all the best for your coming games.

If you do recognized yourselves or any of your teammates, kindly send us the names and we’ll update the captions.
