Singapore Basketball Centre, Wednesday, July 8, 2015 — An overwhelming effort from Northbrooks Secondary helped them to a 34–2 victory over Fuchun Secondary, earning them their first win of the North Zone C Division Girls’ Basketball Championship.
Fuchun, on the contrary, continued their slide and have conceded their third straight game.
Northbrooks were led by Tan Ching (#12), who had a game-high 12 points, while Fuchun’s Rachel Boo (#9) scored the only points for her team in the third quarter.
Northbrooks will next face Woodgrove Secondary, while Fuchun will play Nan Chiau High. Both games will be played at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 10, at the Singapore Basketball Centre.
