NUS Track, Wednesday, February 3, 2016 — After a dry 10-year spell, Temasek Hall’s stellar performance in the Men’s 4x400m race earned them enough Inter-Hall Games (IHG) points to earn them the title of IHG Overall Champions.
Kent Ridge and Eusoff Halls dominated the rest of the events. Kent Ridge came in first for both the Women’s 4x100m and 4x400m, while the Eusoff team won the Men’s 4x100m.
In the Women’s 4x100m, a smooth changeover from first runner Chan Meaghan of Eusoff to second runner Ting Fang gave the latter a 10 metre lead ahead of the rest of the competition.
However, Kent Ridge third runner Amelia managed to close the gap, and by the time the baton was passed to the final runner Shuen, Kent Ridge were in the lead. Kent Ridge emerged tops with a timing of 53.80s, with Eusoff a close second clocking, in at 55.00s.
The Men’s 4x100m saw an inversion of results as Kent Ridge came in second to Eusoff Hall’s 43.11s.
In the Men’s 4x400m, first runners Huiyang (Kent Ridge), Zachary (Eusoff) and Mayer (Temasek) were too close to separate. This close gap between the three Halls remained into the final stretch of the race but it was Aaron of Temasek who outsprinted the rest to bring in the gold for his Hall.
The Women’s 4x400m saw Kent Ridge and Eusoff fighting for the top spot from start to finish. Initially, first runner Ethanyn of Kent Ridge was in the lead, followed closely by first runner Esther of Eusoff. However, by the last stretch of the race, the tables had turned and last runner Olivia from Eusoff crossed the finish line first by a few seconds.

Hi, may I know which part is wrong so we can rectify it if necessary? There were 2 different timings on the results slip so we just took the average of the two, which may have led to the reflected timings being different from the actual timings.
