With a team list reading like a who’s who of the Singapore youth basketball scene, it is no wonder that the Singapore Combined Schools U17 team seems destined for the upcoming U17 Milo BAS basketball cup glory.

The members are:

#6 Gerald Toh – Seng Kang Sec
#7 Ng Wei Xiang – Unity Sec
#8 Goh Yao Ming – Presbyterian High
#9 Adam Goh – Dunman Sec
#10 Dominic Lim – Catholic High
#11 Ng Zhao Feng – Gan Eng Seng Sec
#12 Johann Yeo – Queensway Sec
#13 Wu Qing De – Chung Cheng High (Yishun)
#14 Ng Bing Yao – Presbyterian High
#15 Scott James Driscoll – Ngee Ann Sec

Though four other players are excluded from this squad due to their participation in the upcoming Asian Youth Games, this team still has enough strength in depth to see off their opponents in the U17 category easily.

Each of these players, having been the key players for their respective schools, should be able to utilize their experience gained in the inter-schools competition effectively for their team.
