The head coach of the renowned Shanghai Volleyball men’s team, Mr Shen Fu Lin, will be in Singapore next week from 19 to 25 May.

As a player, he was voted the Best Setter in the Volleyball World Cup in 1981. As a coach, he was awarded Best Coach in China for the years 2000, 2003-2006. The Shanghai team just won its sixth consecutive national title under his charge earlier this year.

Mr Shen has kindly acceded to the Volleyball Association of Singapore's request for him to run several coaching clinics and workshops for our youth athletes and well as local coaches and teachers-in-charge.

The cost is $10 per student participant and $30 per coach or teacher. Students, who are interested in the coaching clinics, please register with your teacher-in-charge. For more information, please contact Mr Ang (ang_swee_aun@moe.edu.sg).
