Red Sports will be having an exclusive interview with the Asian Youth Games basketballers on Saturday, July 4, and we want YOUR questions.
Though eliminated from the tournament, Singapore's best youth basketball players have showed much heart over the last few days.
The boys' quartet of Jabez Su, Russel Low, Larry Liew, and Goh Kong Tat reached their quarter-final goal, where they bowed out to South Korea and clearly pushed the favourites to their limits.
The girls team, though having lost to China by a significant margin, and just missing out on the quarter-finals following a narrow defeat to India, kept their heads high and eventually secured their first (and last) win at the inaugural AYG with a 33-2 thrashing of Bahrain in a mere 4 minutes and 35 seconds.
Red Sports now gives you, our reader, an opportunity to ask Singapore's young heroes a question.
Simply leave your questions in the comments section below by 5pm, Saturday, July 4, and we will be pass on your questions to them! Specific questions to certain players are also welcome.
if the B boy national MVP 2009,lor weng siang, is singaporean and allow to play wif u all (AYG)… do u all think have the chance to go far??
You guys played great. Russel, you do have a lot of potential. I think you should work harder on your outside shot, play a position down and do singapore proud.
russel and jabez how far do u guys think u guys can go in basketball?what is your dream?(e.g playing in the NBA,EURO LEAGUE,SINGAPORE SLINGERS)
gong tat do you think basketball can bring you somewhere?
larry what do u plan to do after next eyars YOG?if u fail to light up the stage, will u still pursue the game?
How was the game atmosphere like? What’s your feeling wearing the nation’s flag behind your back?
What’s your move Russel? I’ve seen the games you played but what I saw was only pure height and long arms. I didn’t see you shoot jumpshots that are of high percentage unlike the other players. Your height might be Centre for now but you should know jumpshots are important and if you want to make it into the big leagues, it is very important. ( hope to see u work on it – will be proud to have more Singaporeans playing in bigger leagues)
Your SpinMove was great but you tend to move your pivot foot quite alot which results in traveling, how are you gonna work on that?
What moves do you want to work on to improve your game?
( To Jabez and Russel )
If any one of you had to choose a player from the 4 of you guys to be the MVP, who will it be and why?
russell do you think you can go to the NBA if you train hard enough?

How are the training sessions be conducted? Only four players and the Coach? Any other players involved? There should be at least six players where 2 teams can be formed to compete each other.
