National ‘A’ Division Boys Semifinal
Anglo-Chinese Junior College vs Raffles Junior College

Raffles Junior College beat Anglo Chinese Junior College 4-1 in a sun-baked afternoon at Kallang and move a step closer in the running for the championship title in the National ‘A’ Division Boys Tennis Semifinal.

Here are the individual match results:

1st Singles:  Darryl Boey (RJC) beat Ang Kawai (ACJC) 6-0, 6-0
2nd Singles:  Quan Fong (RJC) beat Aaron Leong (ACJC) 6-1, 6-4
1st Doubles:  Nicholas Lim and Cheng Jie (RJC) beat Hussain and Chew Sze Liang (ACJC) 6-7, 6-3, 7-6
2nd Doubles:  Sylvester Wee and Jonas (RJC) beat Marc Khoo and Chevalier Tan (ACJC) 3-6, 6-1, 6-4
3rd Singles:  Nicholas Tan (ACJC) beat Leong Chee Jun (RJC) 6-4, 7-5

Raffles Junior College will now face Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) in the National ‘A’ Boys Tennis Final, that will be played this Wednesday, 23 May at Kallang Tennis Centre.

The girls from Raffles Junior College and Hwa Chong Institution will also be playing their Final on the same afternoon.
