Toa Payoh Sports Hall, Tuesday, May 20, 2008 – In the match for the 3/4th placing, Jurong Junior College swept aside Anglo-Chinese JC 5-0 to clinch third place. The JJC boys won all their five games against ACJC, but not without some form of resistance by their opponent. There were times when the ACJC boys came close to taking the set, but strong offence by the JJC team stopped them short.
In the last match of the day, JJC's Chen Yi Ming (featured) played against Lim Jing Kai of ACJC. Yi Ming was the better player, forcing Jing Kai to scramble around the court. But Jing Kai showed steely determination and gave Yi Ming a good fight. (Photo 1 © Tan Huey Ying/Red Sports)
