Goh Eng Wei of Raffles Junior College wins second long jump gold

Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Thursday, July 3, 2008 – It was a repeat of last year’s scenario as Goh Eng Wei (#133) of Raffles Junior College won the A Division Boys long jump event at the 49th Inter-school Track & Field Championships. His jump distance of 6.66m put him ahead of his other competitors. However, this was still 0.04m short of last year’s feat where he also came in first, but with a jump distance of 6.70m.

Chan Wei Hao (#265) from Hwa Chong Institution was second when he had a jump distance of 6.56m. Coincidentally, he also came in second in last year’s Track & Field Championships. However, he bettered last year’s jump of 6.27m.

Chew Han Wei (#130) also from RJC completed the trio by coming in third with a jump distance of 6.40m.
