Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) and St Andrew’s Secondary are on course to meet again in the B Division Rugby Championship final this year. If current form is anything to go by, they just have the mere formality of a semi-final to overcome tomorrow.
ACS(I), who fell 10-17 to St Andrew’s in last year’s final, are set to meet St Joseph’s Institution (SJI) in the semi-finals tomorrow st the Old Police Academy.
ACS(I) have a perfect 6-0 win-loss record and have outscored their opponents by a whopping 425-0.
ACS(I) come up against an SJI team that has a 4-1-2 win-draw-loss record. While, SJI have outscored their opponents 199-28 on their way to the semi-finals, they are expected to struggle against ACS(I).
In the other semi-final, defending champions St Andrew’s will play Raffles Institution. The Saints, like ACS(I), are unbeaten and have a perfect 7-0 record and they achieved it by outscoring their opponents by a combined score of 466-25.
Their opponents, RI, have a 5-1-1 win-draw-loss record while putting together 220-115 scoring record. RI’s biggest loss came in their last game against ACS(I), where they went down 0-67.

hi. does anyone knows what the final score between SAS and RI?
thanks. 🙂
Final score SAS and RI 50-3..
Latest score for SAS Vs RI – 31- 3 at halftime to SAS
I think some COMEDIAN inserted the score. If I am not wrong, Greendale withdrew even before the competition started. Anyway GOOD LUCK to all teams in the Semis…hope we do not hear unconstructive comments after the Semis and Finals. Enjoy the GAME!!
Don’t under estimate SJI & RI. They will rise to the occasion.
@Serious: I see. Ok, thanks. I’ll take the cue from you and will remove their scores.
I thought Greendale withdrew from the competition because they could not form a team??
@Serious: I was wondering about that as well because we have two Greendale games listed in the first round fixtures and after that they dropped out … Does anyone know about Greendale?
