Bedok Sports Hall, Tuesday, May 18, 2010 – A new champion has been crowned! The Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) dethroned seven-time champions Raffles Institution in the A Division Boys Badminton Championship final. RI, who have held the title since 2003, conceded 3-2 to ACS(I).
In the girls’ final, RI took the title for an eighth time as they swept aside Victoria Junior College 3-0.
In the battle for 3rd/4th placing, Jurong Junior College beat Anderson Junior College 3-0 in the boys’ match while in the girls’ match, JJC overcame Dunman High School 3-2.
