Kuala Lumpur, Sunday, July 18, 2010 — Singapore’s Chung Hong Zheng shot a 72-76-73-72 (293) to finish third behind two Malaysians at the ASEAN School Games over the weekend. He was three strokes behind the eventual winner.

Low Khai Jei of Malaysia won gold with a four-day performance of 67, 73, 73, 77, to finish with a 290 total.

Our Singapore boys also won a bronze in the team event. Malaysia won the gold while Thailand were second.

Our girls’ team did not manage a medal placing.
