Bishan Stadium, Wednesday, August 18, 2010 — Middle-distance running boy wonder Zachary Devaraj broke his personal best in the 1000 metres heat.

He clocked 2 minutes 32.27 seconds, half a second faster than his result at May’s YOG Asian Area Qualification.

Zachary finished 16th overall to secure himself a place in the B Final.
