Sengkang Hockey Stadium, Wednesday, August 2010 – Singapore boys’ hockey team fell to a heavy 7-1 defeat against Belgium in their second preliminaries match.
Belgium was already 3-0 up by half time. Although Singapore pulled a goal back through Rahmat Abdul Jalil (#8), Belgium scored another four goals to shape the scoreline of 7-1.
This was Singapore’s second defeat in as many matches after they lost 1-8 to Australia yesterday.
