South-zone champs CHIJ (Toa Payoh) played a gruelling and very challenging semi-final match against East-zone champs Dunman Secondary that extended into a fifth quarter, before winning 36-31 and advancing to the final round.
Tanjong Katong Secondary could only draw 25-25 with River Valley High and that cost them a place in the semi-finals of the National C Division Netball Championship.
Raffles Girls' Secondary School defeated Cedar Girls' Secondary 25-24 in their final game of the National B Division Netball quarter-finals. However, having lost two games to CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) and Nanyang Girls' High, Raffles needed a convincing victory over Cedar to make it to the semi-finals with CHIJ Secondary.
