Four years of training and hard work culminated in the B Division Boys' 200 metres final for Nicholas Teo, and he did not fail to deliver. "I have been preparing for a long time to achieve what I wanted to achieve," said the Singapore Sports School (SSP) Secondary 4 student. "Through the years I have been training hard, getting the best timings, and preparing four years for this day." Stopping the clock at 23.31 seconds, Nicholas rose to the occasion for his last year in the division at the 60th National Schools Track and Field Championships, claiming his first individual gold medal.

B Div 400m: Defending champion Emily Ong of SCGS goes sub-61s to secure third straight gold

As a seasoned athlete, Emily Ong of Singapore Chinese Girls' School (SCGS) is no stranger to the demands of the 400 metres sprint. Right from the get-go, Emily launched off at top speed across the track, unwilling to relinquish her hold on the B Division girls' 400m gold medal. The clock was stopped at 1 minute and 0.51 seconds, placing her on the top of the podium at the 60th National Schools Track and Field Championships, a sight similar to last year's edition.

B Div 400m: Sports School’s Raam Muthukumaran blazes through track to claim first-ever title

With only 50 metres left to go, Singapore Sports School's (SSP) Raam Muthukumaran pushed with all his might to clinch the first gold medal of his schools track career in the B Division Boys' 400m event. Raam finished with a winning time of 52.52 seconds, followed closely behind by Ho Zhe Xi of Raffles Institution (RI), who clocked 52.62s.

C Div 1500m: Mervyn Ong sustains lead to claim title for Nan Hua High

Mervyn Ong of Nan Hua High School (NHHS) burst past his competitors during the final lap of 60th National Schools Track and Field Championships to sustain a definite win and secure a hold on the C Division Boys' 1500 metres throne. Mervyn stopped the clock at 4 minutes and 38.59 seconds, just a few strides ahead of Elliot Wong of St. Joseph Institution (SJI), who finished with a best time of 4:41.06.

C Div 1500m: First time competitor Cheyenne Lim of Sports School seals gold with tactical lead

The C Division girls' 1500 metres event was a first for many of the competitors, including both gold and silver medalists. Despite the nerves and adrenaline on a high, Singapore Sports School's (SSP) Cheyenne Lim was not ready to let it get to her. With a personal best of 5 minutes and 27.03 seconds, Cheyenne took it in her stride to be the first to stop the clock during the race. Followed less than a second behind was Cedar Girls' (CG) Eryka Anna Kerner Pasupathy, similarly smashing her previous best to clock in a timing of 5:27.99.
