Millennia Institute had previously defeated Pioneer Junior College 31–7 in the preliminaries.
Jurong Junior College had previously defeated Catholic Junior College 12–7 in the preliminaries.
Greenridge had previously defeated Naval Base Secondary in their first group game, and this is their second straight win. On the other hand, Bukit Batok previously went down 7–42 to Evergreen Secondary and this is their second game in the group stage.
Evergreen had previously defeated Bukit Batok Secondary 42–7 in their first game in the group stage, and this is their second straight win. On the other hand, this is Damai’s first group game in the tournament.
Eugene Ho (#9) led Kent Ridge with five goals, while Eusoff’s Arun Kumar (#3) dominated with a game-high nine goals.
