Defending champions Meridian Junior College thrashed Anglo-Chinese School (International) 10-0 in the National A Division Football Championship. The game was played at MJC.
Joy Chia, 15, was a member of the Methodist Girls' School B Division team that recently beat Raffles Girls' School 3-2 in the B Division final. Joy is also a national age-group tennis player and has been playing tennis for eight years since the age of seven.
Rachel Loy, 15, captained the Methodist Girls' School B Division tennis team to the title this year. It was their school's first B Division title since 2005. Their win snapped a four-year winning streak of B Division titles for RGS.
Wille Loo, 28, finished as the fastest Singaporean at last weekend's Irnonman 70.3 Singapore. He clocked 4 hours, 24 minutes and 8 seconds for a personal best time that also ensures his qualification for this September's World Ironman 70.3 Championship in Las Vegas, USA.
St Joseph's Institution beat Greenridge 12-5 earlier this week on Monday March 21 to ensure that they grabbed fourth place in Group A of the National B Division Rugby Championship. Only the top four qualify for the semi-finals.
