Rachel Marjorie Tseng bagged another meet record for the 15-17 year olds when she clocked a time of 4 minutes 19.15 seconds in the women's 400m freestyle final. 14-year-old Christie Chue will be nominated alongside Rachel for this event at the SEA Games after she swam a massive personal best of 4:20.88.

Singapura Finance SNAG Swim C’ships: Christie Chue smashes 200m freestyle personal best to qualify for SEA Games

The CHIJ Katong Convent swimmer set a new meet record for 15-17 year olds with her time of 2 minutes 3.80 seconds, shaving more than two seconds off Nur Marina Chan's two-year-old record of 2:05.67. It also smashed her personal best of 2:06.14, set three months ago at the Singapore National Swimming Championships.

Singapura Finance SNAG Swim C’ships: Quah Ting Wen swims fast 100m freestyle time to qualify for SEA Games

The 22-year-old first broke the meet record for the 18 years old and over with a time of 56.54s in the morning heats, before rewriting the mark with a 56.11s in the evening finals. It was Ting Wen's fastest time since non-textile swimsuits were banned in 2010.

Singapura Finance SNAG Swim C’ships: Rachel Tseng heads to SEA Games with new 800m freestyle personal best and meet record

Rachel chalked up yet another sub-9 minute swim in the women's 800m freestyle when she clocked a time of 8 minutes 53.14 seconds. It was a new personal best (PB) time and also broke the current meet record of 9:04.02 for the 15-17 year olds.
