In their final group game, Victoria Junior College needed a victory against National JC to qualify for the semi-finals. The team followed their game plan and executed it well, winning this A Division Girls Hockey match 1-0.

Hwa Chong Institution’s explosive third inning dashes Victoria JC hopes of championship final

Hwa Chong Institution beat Victoria Junior College 11-6 to earn themselves a place in the final of the A Division Boys Softball Championship. HCI were undefeated throughout the tournament and were the favourites to qualify for the final.

Hwa Chong Institution softball girls slam 9 past hapless Victoria JC to set up final with Raffles JC

In the final group game of the A Division Girls Softball Championships, Victoria Junior College faced the daunting task of defeating Hwa Chong Institution in their own backyard in order to qualify for the final. With Raffles JC already through to the final, this would be the decider between the two teams.

Millennia Institute triumph over Anderson JC in Round 2 hockey opener

Millenia Institute beat Anderson Junior College 2-0 in a Round 2 National A Division Girls' Hockey Championship game earlier in the week. MI players demonstrated their flair right from the whistle. They showed deft touches with their sticks, making many mazy dribbles around their AJC counterparts and it wasn't surprising when the first chance of the game fell to MI.

Victoria Junior College hockey girls steamroll Anglo-Chinese JC 4-1

Victoria Junior College steamrolled Anglo-Chinese Junior College 4-1 in an opening second round game of the National Girls' A Division Hockey Championship. Both teams finished top of their respective groups but VJC were the favorites, having triumphed over ACJC in last year's competition.

St Andrew’s Junior College and National JC duel to a stalemate

In the second match of the day, St. Andrew's Junior College were up against National JC in an A Division Girls Hockey Championship game. With both teams having already qualified for the second round, this match was just one to determine who would finish top of the group. The duel eventually ended in a 0-0 draw.

Hwa Chong Institution upset Raffles Junior College to claim girls’ A Division squash title

In a clash of the titans, Hwa Chong toppled five-time defending champions Raffles Junior College 5-0 in the girls' A Division Squash Championship Finals. RJC has been holding on to the top spot since 2003 and entered the finals as the hot favourite.
